Superconducting magnet with a max field of 1.56 T at 5000A.
Magnet internal is 4 m long, with a diameter of 1.6 m. Although the usable height is limited by the fact that there is a rail system inside to allow positioning of detectors. Therefore the available height goes from 1.6 m to 1.48 m.
The fringe field (maps.tar.gz) is relatively modest.
